The startup Zero Innovation incorporated NFC technology into a marketing event for Ron Botran XL, based in Guatemala.
Rather than having the guests stand in lengthy lines to check in for the festivities, Zero Innovation facilitated crowd flow for the 5,000+ participants using a card reader and NFC wristbands. Prior to the event, ID details for each attendee were obtained and
loaded onto a central database. Every person was then assigned a uniquely encoded NFC wristband. On the day of the event, partygoers simply scanned their silicone wristband, and their photo would appear on the computer; allowing them quick and easy access to the fun!
